Owner, operater and developer of public houses in strategic positions throughout the UK, growing at a rate of 30-40 new openings each year, with a current portfolio of over 700 properties. Reporting to the Property Director, you will have direct responsibility for all of our estate-management issues, including managing both internal and external relationships, to ensure the effective management of our pub estate. Working closely with the pub operations team and our finance and legal teams, as well as the regionally based property managers, you will ensure that the property department responds effectively to estates queries, as well as proactively managing the company's position regarding rent reviews and rates appeals - ensuring the best outcome for each property. You will manage several external contracts, to provide excellent service over a variety of areas, such as accommodation and ancillary estate management, as well as landlord and tenant issues. You will be expected to seek ways constantly to improve the management and reporting of estates information and to take an active part in shaping the estates strategy for the future. You will be an experienced practitioner in estate and property management, as well as team and contract management. You will be educated to degree level and a member of the RICS. Excellent communications skills, a flexible approach and a determination to provide quality, with attention to detail and enthusiasm, are all traits which we are seeking in the successful candidate. An ability to work on your own initiative and a desire to develop and succeed through your dealings with people, at all levels, are important.
